3 Step Process to Create Your 90 Day Plan
Step #1: Create Your 90 Day Goal
This is your goal or results you are looking to achieve after 90 days. First of all you before you set you 90 day goal it has to be one that is SMART. Simple, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. Sit through your goal and make sure you are not over stretching yourself but at the same time challenging enough to keep you motivated.
Warning: You will get demotivated if your 90 day goal is too big for you. If you find yourself easily demotivated to follow your goals, chances are that your goals are not realistic. Anyway; Refer to the video below for more info.
Step #2: Create Your Milestone Goals
After creating you 90 day goal and setting your intention, the next thing you need to do is to set milestones. Consider this as your base camp while climbing mount Everest. Mountain climbers use this concept to catch their breadth and also to measure how well they are doing. There is no need to set goals you cannot measure progress for. This is key; because it gives you enough feedback to keep going towards your goal. In his book psycho-cybernetics, Dr. Maltz explains the importance of feedback to our in our goals striving mechanism. Refer to the video below for more info.
Step #3: Your Daily Action Plan
When you have created your milestones you break them down into daily actionable steps. This is where ‘the rubber meets the road’ so to speak. Without this you would be like the man who shoots his target in the dark. You need to be taking consistent action to achieve your goal. Not all action will deliver you your end results. This is why we tend to miss our goal only because our consistent action is not aimed towards our desired results.
