How to Increase Productivity In Your MLM Business
Scattered mindedness is one of the plaques common in the home business profession. In the past I have searched and bought a lot of tools for productivity in my home business and read on how to increase productivity but none of these tools were able to solve my problem.
I remember just a while ago I would sit down at my desk ready to work (not knowing how to increase productivity in my business), more enthusiastic than ever. Then 3 hours I would still be wandering around online wasting valuable time. Although I knew what I wanted it was very difficult keeping on track with what was priority – I was simply overwhelmed. I’d find myself browsing facebook liking comments, posting photos and checking on my fanpage and profile with 10 other windows opened – this is simply NOT how to increase productivity in business. Period!
If I was not on facebook I was looking for the next best source to place ads and end up hours later without placing an actual ad. Then come 1hour to bedtime I am panicked for time and angry at myself for not doing much after so many hours of sitting behind that screen on my desk. It can be and is very irritating knowing very well that your business is unproductive and its simply your fault.
How I killed Unproductivity and Overwhelm in My Business to Increase Productivity
First of all I would like you to know that this is not a strategy I came up with but I learned this from an leader in our profession and decided to implement it. Since implementing this simple strategy I have not needed schedulers and productivity tools for a while. Of course I am not saying that these tools are not useful but they guide you on what you need to be doing. A lot of people create long list of to do list and start getting frustrated when they have not been able to complete their to-do list by the end of their working schedule.

So here’s the secret;
To learn how to be productive in your mlm business you need to be willing to keep things very simple. Here’s how; write down the top 4 (maximum 5) income producing activities you need completed by the end of your working schedule and complete those first. If you have more than 4 or 5 income producing activities, you are aiming too high and need to scale down. This does not mean you do not do anything else on your to-do list but these income producing activities are the things you need to complete on a daily a basis to get results in your business. This is simply is how to increase productivity in your business (I have tried it and it works).
After you have completed your income producing activities then you can focus on your other tasks. No social media until everything else is complete – I leave my facebook to last and on day that I do not I find myself wasting a bit of time. After doing this for a while you would realize that whenever you sit behind your desk to work you are laser focused in getting things that get you paid done first. If you are not sure what you need to be doing as income producing activities, these are typical income producing activities within our profession. Doing these on a daily basis would increase productivity – guaranteed.
