Videos are the best ways to build trust with your audience. And as you may already know, people buy from you only because they know, like and trust you. People will buy you first before they buy anything else from you. In as much as the product may be great, awesome and highly useful to the customer.
So opening up to your prospect is very important. When we feel like we know someone, instinctively we are tempted to trust them and believe what they tell us.
Secondly, a lot of people today have lost trust and believe in big companies. When asked a lot of people would rather trust an individual than a corporation. So the next time you put your content online, you want to think how much of yourself did you put into that content.

People love product reviews because they deliver the information they are looking for in a very quick way. We learn a lot by watching and observing. A lot of people would rather watch a quick 10 minutes video than research online or read a book or post. This is why review videos simply work because we want instant gratification.
- Recommend Yourself as The “go to Person”
A lot people create review videos but forget this important part of the process. Missing this step costs you some sales. Doing a great review video without recommending yourself is like telling your viewer your service is for free. Don’t forget that there may be other people companies, individuals selling or promoting the same product/service. There is nothing wrong with recommending yourself because they already see you as an influential figure while watching your video. So feel comfortable and recommended yourself as the “go-to person” for what they are looking for.
- Add a Call to Action
The most important part of the process (although the first 2 steps are equally important) is telling your viewer where they can purchase the product or service from. Not doing this is 100% leaving money on the table. You don’t want to work for someone else to reap the benefit so it is a must. A CTA is simply telling your prospect what to do next after your content.Some wont, some will, so what? Lets move on. Its not your job to worry about weather they took action or not. It is yours to serve your audience with the information they are looking for and point them in the right direction. A call to action tells your prospect very clear instructions on what to do next to get their problem solved. Its also another way to close them without coming across as desperate in your videos. Mention your call to action at the end of the video and place a link to your lead capture page or product page for purchase. We ALWAYS recommend using a lead capture page.
