The One Thing You Need to do For Home Business Success
Have you ever wondered why home business success seem to elude you all the time? Maybe you have tried everything and still feel overwhelmed. Probably with information overload, team members quitting and joining all the time. Or you feel you are at the mercy of circumstances, your team members, the company you promote or whatever it is.
Today I will be sharing with you one main key reason for this and the ONLY way to solve it.
So let’s get started;
Running a home based business can be very confusing for various reasons. The biggest of reasons why it is hard to run a home based business successfully is purely because of information overload and un-clarity. I remember after quitting my second business that it wasn’t because of my lack of passion and focus. It was also not because of the “know-how” and the people around me. I was simply getting tired, losing out on energy and drive.
When we start our home business we seldom get home business success because we look so much on the outside. We think we are not in control of the things that happen in our lives and our business.
This is very false!
If you ask anyone that has achieved any level of home business success they will tell you same.
The One Thing You Need To Do For Home Business Success
The one thing you need to do if you are fighting a losing battle is BOUNDARIES. Boundaries are rules that you set in your business to ensure that you get the most out of your business.
According to google a rule is;
To get more from your home business you need to set rules for yourself. Rules that will govern the way you conduct your business. it is key to set boundaries in your business and start implementing them from the start.
The Benefit of Setting Rules for Home Business success
I will give two reasons only but there are more. The first is that it helps you work in an orderly manner and order is important when running a business. Secondly, it ensures that people take you and your business seriously.
If you answer calls at anytime, work at anytime and anyhow, respond to people at anytime, then there is a problem. You get overwhelmed and people take you for a ride. Your partners and your team members don’t take your word for its worth. Simply because you are “all over the place”. You are a cheap-scape!
It could be anything for you but set them. Make sure they align with your values, core principles and follow them to a “T”.
An example for me was, “no screens, computers or phones during family times”. This helps me disconnect and focus on whats most important for me at the moment “Family”. It also helped me spend quality time no matter how long or short it was with family.
Another one was setting up coaching times for my team members. I am the type that loved to help and sometimes this ate into my family time, my personal development time because I gave wey too much.
So go ahead, set your rules and delineate your work-space to build your territory.
