Wow! the numbers are staggering. If you are already running your network marketing business or you are thinking of starting a network marketing business this post is as important to you as it is to me (not because I wrote it but because I also run my own network marketing business). Having been on a great deal of training and listening to a lot of training certain “latent” words keep creeping up. Its like a secret code that has not been picked up by many. After understanding and using these my network marketing business began to shift positions.
Network marketing is still the only industry that has created more millionaires than any other industry know to man so far. If that is the case you may be wondering why so many people fail at it. A lot of people give reasons and excuses by using the pyramid scheme excuse. Personally I have seen new people in the industry rise to become millionaires in a matter of 3 years and older more experienced people do it in 6 years. I have also seen a lot of people quit it completely.
So in this post I will be sharing the ONLY ingredients you need to build a successful network marketing business. Although I do not mention training please consider training as one of the main keys as you need training to get this knowledge.

- Time: the first ingredient is Time. Just like any other business building your network marketing business will take time to build. The most important thing is having patience and learning what you need to learn while building. In the traditional business world most entrepreneurs and business people wait years and years before seeing the fruit of their labor. I find it difficult to uinderstand why most home business owners quit when they are not seeing rapid results in their business. so what do we need time for?
- Time to learn and master the skills needed. So if you are considering starting a network marketing business and you are not prepared to put some time aside to focus on your business then do not bother doing it.
- Dedicated Time to Work. Determine how many hours a week can you set aside to run your business and stick to it. It does not matter how small.
- Money: Yes! money is very crucial in building your business. Most people after purchasing their business pack stop investing money. Building a business is capital intensive. The said with network marketing you either have, time, money or both. You need either or both to work. What do we need money for?
- Money to invest in yourself.
- Money for your products. You need to use your company products and experience your company. How can you share something you dont have?
- For marketing. This is purely optional as our industry uses a lot more of word of mouth marketing. But you may consider using other tools to generate your leads.
- A working step-by-step system: a successful business is built on a successful system. If you want a business that gives you freedom you have to use a business building system. Something that works in your absence and allows you to do other things. Its has to be duplicate-able by your team members. For example, you need to create a system for getting new leads into your business. Most network marketing companies provide tools to help you build your business but not many provide you with systems.
